  • One Indian Mustard Variety, “NRCHB101” developed by him was recognized as landmark variety of Indian mustard by Indian Society of Genetics and Plant Breeding in 2019.
  • Worked on genetics of host-pathogen interaction of white rust in Indian mustard at Rothamsted Research, UK and participated in International training programme on plant variety protection and DUS Testing at NIAB Cambridge, UK.
  • Developed four varieties, one hybrid and 11 genetic stocks of rapeseed-mustard.
  • Characterization of different cytoplasmic male sterility systems and standardization of hybrid seed production technology in Indian mustard:
  • Developed draft guidelines for distinctness, uniformity and stability test in four species of Oilseed Brassica.
  • Prepared a descriptor of 102 rapeseed-mustard varieties for DUS characteristics
  • All India Coordinated Research Project on Rapeseed-Mustard as In-charge, Project Coordination Cell and Principal Investigator, Plant Breeding for more than a decade.
  • Coordinated various activities including breeder seed production of AICRP-RM as In-charge of Project coordination unit of AICRP on Rapeseed-Mustard at ICAR-DRMR, Bharatpur, since 2010.
  • Facilitated registration of 36 rapeseed-mustard varieties for protection under PPV & FR Act, from different AICRPRM centers
